Rob

Managing Director

Department: The final decision.

Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: I qualified as an electrician in the early eighties and later added refrigeration and gas qualifications. I have over 30 years running small businesses and set up Abraxas in 1998.

Hobbies and Interests: I play golf with enthusiasm if not skill and enjoy different types of fishing.

Likes: I love travelling and going on cruising holidays. I like eating out, the cinema and reading a good sci fi book.

Wendy

Director

Department: Accounts

Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: I spent a brief period of time at catering college where I learnt a thing or two about preparing great food and hearty meals. Being a mum and having raised two amazing children I’ve learnt many things along life’s journey too!

Hobbies and Interests: : I enjoy yoga, meditating and cooking, although this doesn’t include baking! I like country walks with my mad cockerpoo, Molly and taking my jag out for a spin with its roof down! (I would say I enjoy the wind blowing through my hair but its too short to do that!)

Tom

Operations Director

Department: Service

Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: I have over 10 years experience within the catering industry, I am a qualified commercial gas engineer and hold the following gas qualifications – NDNG3, CCCN1, COMCAT1,3 & 5, CONGLP1PD, CONGlP1CMC, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A. I have successfully completed the CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Course. I am First Aid trained. I have experience in the design and installation of commercial extraction and ventilation systems.

Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy swimming and keeping fit. I’ve been a keen snowboarder since I was young, and try an escape to the Alps once a year with my friends (I hope to continue this until I’m old and grey!) I’m a big fan of Moto GP and love anything to do with motorbikes, especially going out for rides on my own motorbike.

What I do: I oversee all operational aspects of the companies strategy, I help set strategic goals and I’m responsible for the flow of operations

Engineer

Department: Service

Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: I have a City & Guilds in Electrical Installation and Refrigeration.

Hobbies and Interests: I really enjoy astronomy and studying celestial objects and phenomena. I really enjoy anything to do with land rovers too whether that’s driving them off road or tinkering around under the bonnet!

Likes: I love spending time with family and friends, exploring new places together and chilling out at home with a good BBQ (but only when the weather is good!)

Tony

Service Manager

Department: Office

Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: I went to College and studied art and photography (HND level 5).

Hobbies and Interests: I like to play the guitar and I’m a big art and football fan! In my spare time I like to play, and watch snooker, go fishing and play poker with friends.

Likes: I am currently going through a midlife crisis and recently started to ride motorbikes. I enjoy watching most motorsports, football (Spurs), and taking part in a little fishing, pool and poker. I do try and play golf too and I do emphasize TRY.

Engineer

Department: Service

Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: City & Guilds and an AVCE in Engineering. 10 years in the catering and food service equipment repair sector

Hobbies and Interests: On a weekend I’m normally found at Molineux cheering on the Wolves or out riding my motorbikes.

Likes: I’m an avid F1 fan. I also enjoy Hill walking (along with my crazy Jack Russell!)

Office Administrator

Department: Office

Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: BTEC ND in Public Services, 17 years of office and administration experience

Hobbies and Interests: Running which is partly to run off the calories I eat dining out, I enjoy exploring new areas & restaurants with my family.

Likes: An active member of my sons school PTA, organising events, raising funds & joining in with all the activities it brings with it.

Education, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: I have over 5 years experience within the catering industry, I am a qualified commercial gas engineer and also have experience across a range of electrical catering equipment.

Hobbies and Interests: Often found with friends exploring new mountain bike tracks.

Likes: Spending time with family including camping & hiking.
