Designed to provide an additional outlet for catering within schools and outdoor environments these standalone pods are fully self-contained needing only a mains power feed bringing to them. Abraxas designed the bespoke pod which includes a weathertight roof, door and secure electric shutter to the clients exact requirements based on the pod’s location, available space and proposed usage.
Fit out includes the installation of lighting, electrical sockets and ventilation fan by our own electrical team. Appliances and tabling can be designed in to suit and is specified based on the proposed usage, but can include refrigeration, heated display units, countering and a self-contained handwash unit.
The pod is available in a variety of colours and can be branded with vinyl decals, we can even supply an awning for those rare sunny days in the summer. Installed over 2 days it can be up and running within a week. Abraxas can also offer outdoor furniture, screens and canopies to complement the pod.
Equipment within the unit can be focused around the needs of the operator. This retail outlet not only provides a brand new external dining experience for school pupils during the day but adds a new dimension providing an external catering facility for evening and weekend sporting or social functions, open evenings etc. to provide additional school revenue.
Whilst each kiosk provides an ideal solution for a permanent pitch it is designed for easy removal and re positioning to another location. Each unit has a quality exterior which is water and weather proof, and just needs Electric supply and water and drain can be optional.
