Services Used

The Abraxas Solution

Once planning had been passed on the listed building, Abraxas was chosen to design and install a fully functioning commercial kitchen, and extraction system to be compliant with current regulations. Due to this being run by the community benefit society, this was truly a special project that all the villagers had an interest in.

The Project Installation

What did we do?

We provided an initial survey and design proposal working closely with the chair person of the committee to address all the issues that we were facing working within the guidelines of a listed building. A full design and quotation was then submitted and approved for the project to go ahead.

What did we install?

  • Rational Combi Oven
  • Extraction & Ventilation System
  • Floor Standing Fryer
  • Plate Warmer Cabinet
  • Under-counter Freezer
  • Additional Free Standing Equipment

How long did the process take?

Due to the nature of the Boot Inn being a listed building, and with issues that needed to be addressed along the way, this took approximately 5 months from the initial design to completion.

How many staff were on the project?

1 Project Manager / 3 Qualified Engineers

The Benefits to the Company

How has Abraxas made an impact to the company?

This project has been a total ‘labour of love’ with the support and contribution from the villagers, and it has been an honour to have been part of this journey to bring the Boot Inn to life once again. We wish landlords, Chris and Hollie every success for the future!
