The Abraxas Solution
Abraxas were asked to design and install a brand new commercial kitchen and extraction system for a new extension to the Nursing Home. The brief we were given was to incorporate warewashing, refrigeration food storage and adequate cookline area, which is vital for segregation of different food types during preparation.
The Project Installation
What did we do?
We were initially sent elevation and kitchen layout drawings, from which we provided full design and equipment specifications to incorporate the requirements that the client had briefed us on. Abraxas provided full project management throughout the installation of the kitchen to make sure everything was provided and the smooth running for the client.
What did we install?
We installed an extraction and ventilation system incorporating an external duct rising 3 floors, powder coated to client specification, followed by the cookline, refrigeration, combi ovens, & warewashing area utilizing an energy efficient dishwasher with heat recovery.
How long did the process take?
We were commissioned to provide initial design development for the kitchen prior to the main build commencing. Following the initial build, we made further revisions in association with the architect’s changes. Fit out was completed over a 4 week period to include 1st & 2nd fix stages.
